About Charles Badenach: Charles Badenach represents the new breed of financial planner in Australia, being highly educated, innovative and focussed on delivering best practice outcomes to his clients. With a strong background in the law, Charles has worked in financial services for over 17 years, having previously been a Principal at the ASX listed Shadforth Financial Group (now part of the IOOF Group).

Charles founded Main Street Financial Solutions in 2014 as a “greenfields business “ and has grown the business significantly in that time to where they now have 9 staff, over 250 clients and manage investments of over $200 million.

About Carissa Fairbrother: Carissa has a wealth of client advice experience; she began her career in Wellington working as an Insurance Adviser in 2001. After a few years overseas in Ireland, on her return to New Zealand in 2008 Carissa and her husband Tim set up their financial planning business, now with a team of 18 – RIVAL Wealth.  Carissa has been practicing as an impartial financial adviser ever since, while juggling bringing 3 young people into this world (taking minimal time off being self-employed) and is a long-term member of the Institute of Financial Advisers.
