Tim joins fellow experts Doug Isles and Bevan Graham for this interactive session which explores what’s really going on in the investment world, facilitated by Clayton Coplestone.

About Tim Fairbrother: Tim is Chair of the recently formed Financial Advice New Zealand Member Advisory Committee (MAC) for Investments and a long-term member of the Institute of Financial Advisers since 2001. Tim has been a practicing financial adviser since 2008, setting up financial advice business, RIVAL Wealth at the start of the Global Financial Crisis. RIVAL Wealth now consists of a team of 17 staff including 7 advisers with 2,800 clients around New Zealand. They have been a finalist in the Wellington Business Awards the last 2 years and have big plans for further growth.

Tim started his career at TOWER Managed Funds, then spent 2 years working in a booming Irish financial industry as Head of Business Development for Oppenheim Investment Managers, setting up and creating a significant retail investment business. He served 4 years as Treasurer of the Wairarapa Chamber of Commerce and 2 years as an Independent Board Member for the Wairarapa Bush Rugby Union. His areas of expertise focus on comprehensive financial planning, investment analysis and advice, and farm and business succession.
